2. Sigel Marsala Marathon

Experience the Sigel Marsala Marathon – Città Garibaldina on April 26, 2026, in Marsala, in the west of Sicily. This second edition of the international 42.195 km long road marathon is set in a unique landscape: You start at the historic Piazza della Vittoria, followed by a panorama along the Lungomare Mediterraneo, passing by centuries-old wineries like Baglio Anselmi (Museo Archeologico) and Florio, continuing along golden beaches and the sea to the municipal border of Petrosino. On the return journey, you will cross the historic center with landmarks such as Palazzo VII Aprile, the Cathedral, and Porta Garibaldi, before reaching the fairytale lagoon of Stagnone with salt pans, windmills, and pink flamingos via the Lungomare Tirreno – a run between culture, nature, and legend, ideal for PR and SEO purposes.
